  15. Hell, I have a pentium 100 with 24 megs of RAM, and it get slower than
  16. S**t sometimes!  The only reason I got 95 is since I was using the
  17. Japanese version of win 3.11, since there was never a WFWG in
  18. japanese.  What really sucks to me is how the os is quite different
  19. internally for the different languages.  I can use Japanese, but
  20. prefer english unless running japanese apps.

  22. Anyway, all I ever use 95 for is running Word 7.0, and now that piece
  23. of crap crashes all the time for some reason. I have not been able to
  24. load up this 900k text document in it without it crashing yet, keep
  25. getting some error about a dll breaking or such.

  27. Thank god I still have Linux and X on my system or I would die...too
  28. bad the mistake of the PnP modem made it unusable anywhere else.

  30. The system has its good and bad points.  Basically, it is best suited
  31. for newbies who have never used a computer and cannot afford a mac or
  32. a new amiga(had to throw that in).  For me, it works pretty good
  33. getting me connecting to the internet, but if I had a normal modem I
  34. would probably stay in X.

  36. Any ideas on a good wp, or can I use word 7 in os/2?
